Back Pain – A Lingering Problem

In a recent study evaluating acute (less than 3 weeks duration) low back pain in patients seeking care for the first time, after 3 months 24 percent of patients had still not fully recovered. It should be noted that these patients did not seek chiropractic care, which is why, in our opinion, their recovery rate was so poor. However, we hope this relatively high number highlights the importance of not allowing initial signs of back pain, even in the first time sufferer, to go untreated. Remember, chiropractors are masters at providing effective care for most back and associated spinal problems.
